About

Global data, made interoperable.

DisasterDB specializes in taking disjointed geospatial sources and turning them into standardized, normalized data you can actually join, compare, and ship — worldwide.

Agencies and vendors rarely speak the same language. One feed reports hectares, another acres. Names, timestamps, geometries, and attributes drift. Over roughly twenty years of spatial and data-interoperability work, that’s the problem we’ve practiced solving: clean it up, make the units and schemas consistent, and deliver something operators and analysts can trust.

That’s the through-line behind DisasterDB: public maps for proof, and products — FireDB, infrastructure extracts, basemaps, custom maps — when you need the data itself. Based in Calgary; building with collaborators.
